Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. ( I John 4:7 )
Welcome to the home page of First Baptist Church. We would love to have you join us for one of our Sunday or Mid-Week services. Our hope is that this site will help acquaint you with some of our programs and help you learn more about our ministries.
Is. 40:8. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.
When the ground underneath shakes, we can go to the One who cannot be shaken. Eternal security rests in the eternal Word of God. When hopelessness arises, turn to the rock of Christ Jesus.

Extended Worship Care
The target date to begin Extended Session during the Sunday AM Worship Service is October 4. Children not old enough for Children’s Church will need to be picked up after Sunday School.
Parents have the option of taking their Pre-K (4) through 6th grade child to Children’s Church or bringing them to worship. The Sunday School teachers will not take class members to Children’s Church at this time. Parents will need to check out each child from Sunday School and select one of the two above options.
Children’s Church Pickup
Parents should pick their children up as a soon as possible following the close of the church session. Only one parent will be allowed inside Children’s Church at a time in order to avoid congestion. Please enter through the double doors entering Children’s Church, pickup your child, and exit through the single door on the other side of Children’s Church.
Ways to Contribute to Winfield First Baptist Church
In these uncertain times. . .
People need the hope found in Jesus Christ.
People need the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
People need to love their neighbor like the Good Samaritan.
People need the church to be a light burning and not hid.
Therefore. . .
Be the Church – love, serve, and pray for one another.
Stay in contact – with your Sunday School class and Deacon families.
Be a witness for Christ as to how a believer faces tests.
Worship online, by cable tv, or radio.
Continue the support of the church even if absent so that its mission might continue strong here and throughout the world.
Regarding changes. . .
The church will communicate announcements through the church website, social media, and electronic means.
The church will restrict entry into the church building during normal weekday working hours. If coming by, please call from the parking lot and someone will let you in.
The church will consider carefully in regard to future programs and scheduling.
The church will re-evaluate constantly concerning any needed changes.
Mt. 6:26-27 (ESV). Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
27. And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?

Mark Cahill’s passion is for the entire world to know Jesus Christ! He lives to spread the knowledge of God and the gospel far and wide. To that end, he shares the gospel with everyone he meets and even with those he hasn’t met through his best-selling books.
Uniquely gifted as an evangelist, Mark effectively communicates the gospel to the lost so they can be saved, and to the saved so they will get fired-up to reach the lost! “The most exciting thing,” Mark says, “is that they actually go and do it!” Many people respond to Mark’s talks saying they finally feel equipped to share their faith in Jesus Christ!
First Baptist Winfield, Alabama is excited to welcome Mark Cahill to our Spring Outreach Day on Sunday, March 1, 2020.
Go ahead and mark your calendar to be with us!
